Description

2 items (formerly illustrating a note: 'Bathurst. Foul Drainage', by Mark Ashmore, March 1946) extracted from CO 87/258/12. The Gambia: Bathurst (now Banjul). 1 plan and 1 sheet of text. (1) 4 tables of figures, detailing the cost of the works shown on item 2. (2) Plan of the town. Compass indicator. MS additions, coloured, showing proposals for a foul drainage system, including sewers, collecting chambers, a pumping mains, manholes, public latrines, and the boundary of the drainage area; MS reference table.
