20 items extracted from CO 78/220/7. Falkland Islands: Stanley. 4 copies of each of 5 sheets of plans, elevations and sections of the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, as existing in October 1944, and proposed improvements. All items surveyed and drawn by J Austen Woodgate, Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Stanley, October-November 1944. Sheets of specifications and calculations of costs remain in the parent document.
(1), (6), (11) and (16) Sheet A: ground-floor plan of the existing building. Scale: 1 inch to 8 feet [1:96]. (2), (7), (12) and (17) Sheet B: site plan showing the proposed scheme, including the drainage system. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. On (2) MS additions, coloured, highlight the drainage system. (3), (8), (13) and (18) Sheet C: ground and first-floor plans, showing the proposed scheme. Scale: 1 inch to 8 feet [1:96]. (8) has pencilled amendments. (4), (9), (14) and (19) Sheet D: north, south and west elevations of the proposed new wing. (5), (10), (15) and (20) Sheet E: cross-section of the entrance; plan, half-elevation and half cross-section of the proposed new wing. Scale: 1 inch to 2 feet [1:24].
