2 items (originally illustrating 'Mémoire sur les rapports entre la Suisse et la Savoie neutralisée' Berne, Imprimerie de J.A. Weingart, 1859) extracted from FO 100/122. Piedmont: Savoy (now in France), Switzerland. 2 copies of a map of the area between Lausanne, Chambéry and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, showing French and Savoyard customs-free zones; neutral territory under the Treaties of Vienna and Paris [1815]; a favourable military line of defence [for Switzerland], as suggested by General Finsler; and the boundaries of provinces. Reference table. Published by J Wurster & Co, Winterthur.
