1 item extracted from FO 97/184. 'The Coast of France from Cape Carteret to Cape Frehel, including the Island of Jersey. By Captn. Martin White. R.N.'. Table of tides. Compass rose. Engraved by J and C Walker; published at the Hydrographical Office, 1 May 1826; corrected 1831. MS additions, coloured, show the boundary observed by British and French naval vessels, and by British fishing vessels exploiting the oyster beds between Jersey and the French coast; and the limit of naval protection for British fishing vessels. Originally enclosed in a despatch to the Admiralty from Lieutenant Joseph Roche, Royal Navy, 15 October 1835; forwarded to the Foreign Office in an Admiralty letter, 19 October 1835.
