1 item (originally bound with papers on the Fashoda Incident) extracted from FO 78/5051. Central Africa. 'General Map of the Nile Valley from Berber to Victoria Nyanza': showing areas in Abyssinia (now Ethiopia), Kenya, French Equatorial Africa (the part shown is now in the Central African Republic), Sudan and Uganda; marking tribal regions, towns, rivers, lakes, mountains and frontiers. Compiled at the Intelligence Division, War Office; published by Edward Stanford. Inset: 'Plan of Meshra Er Rek' taken from Dr W Junker, Travels in Africa 1879-83, p49. MS additions.
