Description

City of London; Middlesex: Westminster and Saint Marylebone (now in the London Borough of Westminster) and Saint Pancras (now in the London Borough of Camden). Specifications for various improvements to buildings and other construction works: Saint James's Hall, Piccadilly, [1856-1857]; Junior Naval and Military Club, Pall Mall, October 1873; new house in Cambridge Gate, Regent's Park, 1876; skating rink and premises for the Langham Skating Rink Company, Langham Place and through to Riding House Street, [?1876]; clearance and construction of a new house at 46 Warwick Street, 1877; chambers for Richard Cripps, York Terrace West, February 1878; premises for Adams and Son, 57-58 Haymarket, adjacent to Norris Street, February 1880; Exeter Hall, Strand, September 1880; clearance of Blackhorse Yard and construction of a warehouse for Woolley and Co, 1880; demolition and replacement of 56-58 Jermyn Street, [?1880]; premises for the Life Association of Scotland, 122-124 Pall Mall and 8-10 Warwick House Street, January 1881; premises for the Investment Company Ltd at 59-61 Haymarket, April 1881; alterations and repairs to 144 and 145 Piccadilly (3 sets of specifications), July-December 1881; London and County Bank, Oxford Street branch, December 1881; Printing Offices for Burt and Co, Fetter Lane, [?1883]; Birkbeck Institution (abstract specification), [?1884].
