Deed box, wood covered with red leather, and reinforced with iron. Integral seal skippet, originally closed with hasp and possibly locked with padlock; second lock also. Box closed with two hooks, of which one now missing at transfer. Paper lining. 89 x (9 min, 23 max) x 7.5 h cms Applied label [?19th cent] '3', the legend on the parchment tie attached to the hasp is circumstantial confirmation that this box formerly contained E 156/3.
