Enclosure award and map of Longsleddale [Long Sleddale] (township in the parish of Kendal), Westmorland. Map on two sheets. Map A covers the enclosed area only (1990 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows named lakes or ponds, named river, quarry, pin fold, sheepfolds, named physical features, embankment, sand beds, boundary marks, relief (shown by rock drawing and hachures). With border. Scale: 1:2,500. Construction lines shown. Map certified for accuracy, 4 June 1868. Map B covers the enclosed area and some other land (1000 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Scale: 1:2,500. Valuer: Henry Hoggarth, Kendal, Westmorland, Land Surveyor. Dimensions of maps: Map A) 197 cm x 129 cm, Map B) 143 cm x 199 cm
