Enclosure award and map of Firbank (township in the parish of Kirkby Lonsdale), Westmorland. Map covers the enclosed area only (1200 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows marsh or wetland, plantations, named turnpike roads, scots driving road, school, graveyard, spreading grounds (around turbary allotments, possibly for drying), field boundary ownership, some named landowners. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown. Map certified for accuracy, 2 June 1851. Valuer: John Watson, Kendal, Westmorland, Land Surveyor
