Enclosure award and map of Ash (parish), Surrey. Map covers the enclosed area and some other land (1151 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows named lakes or ponds, named canal, woods, hedges, named green, named gates, houses and uninhabited buildings (distinguished by colour), named buildings, workhouse, named railway (with station), pit or quarry, field boundary ownership, some named landowners, relief (shown by hachures). With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown. By John Waters, Land Surveyor, Salisbury, 1852. Map certified for accuracy, 17 December 1857. Valuer: Charles Pink, Soberton, Hampshire, Land Surveyor
