Enclosure award and map of Stevenage (parish), Hertfordshire. Map on 10 sheets. Map A, on nine sheets, covers the enclosed area only (569 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, woods, named commons, grassland, arable land, footpaths or bridleways, turnpike roads, roads (some named), named buildings, named railway (with station), field boundary ownership. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown. Map certified for accuracy, 24 August 1854. Map B covers the whole parish / township (4575.207 acres) and shows the land before enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, woods, grassland, arable land, open field strips, footpaths or bridleways, rectory, named buildings, named railway (with station), field boundary ownership.
