Enclosure award and map of Thaxted [Bardfield End Green] (parish), Essex. Map covers the enclosed area only (74 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, footpaths or bridleways, named roads, houses and uninhabited buildings (distinguished by colour), some named buildings, field boundary ownership. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. By Copyhold, Enclosure and Tithe Commission, [1863]. Map certified for accuracy, 3 November 1863. Valuer: Thomas Franklin, Thaxted, Essex, Land Surveyor
