Inset: Bear Island and Hammerfest.Compiled from Danish and Russian charts and published by the Hydrographic Department of the Russian Ministry of Marine, 1839. Scale: 1 inch to 21 sea miles. Compass variation 1870. Corrected in accordance with Pilots' observations of 1 January 1876. Stamped in lower left corner: 'printed in May 1880'.
