France: Gulf of St Malo: 'Carte particulière des Côtes de France ..'.: from Flamanville to St. Enogat. Manuscript additions show limits of exclusively French oyster beds, as proposed by the Anglo-French Commission at Granville, 12 October 1838. Reference tables to tides. Six charts between 59 cm x 88 cm and 88 cm x 59 cm. Surveyed between 1829 and 1833 by naval surveyors under the command of M Beautemps-Beaupré. Engraved by Michel. Calligraphy by J M Hacq. Published by the Dépôt-général de la Marine, 1834 and 1836. The proposals of the Granville Commission were incorporated in the Convention signed on 2 August 1839: compare FO 93/33/33A.
