Romania: Dobrogea. Three maps: (1) 'Danube and Black Sea Railway and Free Port of Kustendjie'. Plans and Sections of the Line of Railway, and Charts, showing the Proposed Plans for the Harbour. Title sheet only. Dimensions: 49 cm x 68 cm. Liddell and Gordon, engineers. J T and G A Barkley (Constantinople), assistant engineers. (2) Three sheets, together charts showing 'The railway between Constanta and Cernavoda'. Scale: 6 inches to 3 miles; vertical scale of section 6 inches to 200 feet. Compass stars. With cross-sections. Each sheet 48.5 cm x 74 cm. Based on a survey carried out between 2 and 15 October 1856. An overlay on sheet 1 shows 'Improved Gradient at Kustendjie as Suggested at Page 26 of Report'. (3) 'Chart of Kustendjie Anchorage' Scale: 1.7 inches to 100 fathoms. Compass indicator. Shows the proposed harbour and breakwaters. Reference table to proposed works and estimated cost affixed to chart. Explanation of abbreviations. 48.5 cm x 74 cm.
