Bulgaria: Kurdzhali district. Two maps: (1) 'Croquis de la frontière du canton de Kirdjali': from Raka-déré-keui to the river Arda. Also shows contours, rivers, roads, place names. Compass indicator. Reference table. Dimensions: 82 cm x 110 cm. Principal features taken from a Russian map. Certified by Nestoroff, Chief Engineer, to be a true copy, Sofia, 23 February 1889. (2) An untitled map, drawn in the same style as (1), showing a line from Mougla to Karaboulak. Dimensions: 112 cm x 89 cm. (Sgnd) by the same four commissioners at Timrich, 19 June/1 July 1886. Marked 'Kopie'. According to the FO 925 index, these maps were transmitted in Sir W White's despatch of 31 August 1889; however, no reference to them was found in FO 78/4205 or FO 83/1108. Surveyed and made by Crivochieff. (Sgnd) Chakir, Mehmed, Veltcheff and Savoff, Tehariaklihe, 1/13 June 1886.
