Montenegro boundary map: 'Commission Européenne pour la délimitation du 1879 Frontière Nord du lac de Scutari Monténégro': map showing boundary lines agreed and rejected by the Commission; lines on which Commissioners disagreed; boundary of Kucka Kraine as confirmed by the Commission. Reference table. Two sheets, 53 cm x 100 cm and 39.5 cm x 100 cm. (Sgnd) Captain M T Sale, Royal Engineers, British Commissioner. Lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quarter Master General's Department, Horse Guards, December 1879. Manuscript additions show definitive boundary. Numerous pencilled additions by E H[ertslet] indicate points of uncertainty. Notes relate to agreement of 28 August 1883 [between Montenegro and Turkey: see FO 78/3512], described as the 'Podwitza Plan'. The map was received from Mr Kirby Green on 24 December 1885; no related correspondence was found in FO 103/26.
