Compiled during the years 1885-1887 by Colonel E P Leach, VC (Victoria Cross), CB (Companions of the Order of the Bath), Royal Engineers, and Major Dalton and Messadaglia [Messedaglia] Bey. Some additional information incorporated from IDWO 662. Lithographed at the Intelligence Division, War Office, February and April 1889.
