Shows railways, existing and proposed, steamship ports, telegraph lines, national and departmental boundaries, petroleum deposits. Inset general plan of Peru and adjacent country. Key to symbols used. Lithographed by E Abele, Lima. Stamped 'Autorizado por el Supremo Gobierno'. Endorsed: 'Inclosure No 4 in Captain Jones's No 4 Commercial of June 5 1896.
