'Map of West and South-West Coast of Africa'. Shows British, French, Portuguese and Spanish possessions; ports and trading posts fom Senegal to Angola. At top left-hand corner, newspaper cutting (The Times) on Parliamentary question and answer about Portuguese attempts to extend their territory, 8 April 1884. Reference table: notes on trading interests and conditions at various points on the coast. Scale: 1 inch to about 100 miles. Issued by authority of the African Association, Liverpool, January 1884. Printed by G Philip and Son, London and Liverpool.
