Description

Memoranda of the names of attorneys appointed by parties in Chancery suits, and by sheriffs and escheators to receive writs and other process at Chancery.

Certificates sent from the Exchequer that sureties for due performance of office had been produced by sheriffs or escheators.

Certificates of election of town sheriffs sent into Chancery. The nickname Pot Bundle was in use at least from 1579-80.
