To accomplish its goals, the directorate works closely with many Home Office units and related agencies, including the Serious and Organised Crime Agency, UK Border Agency and Association of Chief Police Officers. It also works with other government departments, particularly the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Ministry of Justice, HM Revenue and Customs, Cabinet Office and the devolved administrations.
