Paddington Station and Yard (Middlesex). 'Great Western Railway Plan of Proposed Rearrangement of Lines, Sidings and Stations. From West London Junction to Paddington Terminus.' Map showing Paddington Passenger Station and Goods Depot, Praed Street Station (Metropolitan Railway), Great Western Hotel, Westbourne Park Station, engine sheds and workshops, Royal Oak and Bishops Road Stations, Subway Junction, Crimea Sidings, and 5 bridges. Alterations to Paddington Station include: down platform to be widened away from the columns, additional arrival platform, platform buildings to be moved, 20 coach and wagon turntables on The Lawn, extensive track alterations identified in colour. Annotated: 'Ticket Collector's Offices to be carried on columns over the platforms,' and 'In rearranging the locomotive lines, as much Broad Gauge to be removed as can be spared by the Locomotive Department.' Plan ends 300 feet west of the LNWR overbridge at Wormwood Scrubs. Scale 1 inch to 40 feet. Engineer's plan, lithographed by Robert J Cook and Hammond, Broadway, Westminster.
