London, Essex and Kent. 'Wharf map of the River Thames between Nine Elms and Barking'. Scale: 8 inches to 1 nautical mile. Compiled by G D Evans of The Erith & Dartford Lighterage Co Ltd, 4 Catherine Court, London; lithographed by Dunn, Collin & Co, Brown's Buildings, St Mary Axe, London; published by Henry Hughes & Son, 59 Fenchurch Street, London. A note states that the map was registered at Stationers' Hall. The name T H Rendell is noted on the cover. A separate alphabetical index volume to wharves, docks and businesses giving details of owner-occupiers and addresses is filed with the map. The index also gives details of high and low water marks, depths, point-to-point distances, graving docks and gridirons, compass bearings at the reaches, voyage distances and moorings.
