Description

Savile Bradley, clerk v. John Spicer: Rectory and parish of Binsted (Sussex), and defendant's farm and lands in said parish called "Mersh Farme." Whether said farm, &c., are tithe free? Tithes. [A patent or grant made by Queen Elizabeth to Sir John Spencer, of London, Knt., of "the lands and ten'ts now called Mersh Farm," and "a bargain and sale and feofment of the lands now called Mersh Farme (amongst other things), made and executed by the Hono'ble Henry Lord Compton, Earle of Northampton, unto William Thomas, of West Deane (Sussex), gent.," are mentioned.]: Sussex
