Sir Robert Cotton, Knt. and Bart., and his wife Hester, Dame Jane Salusbury.: Right and title to the manor or lordship of Ruthin alias Dyffryn Clwyd, in the county of Denbigh. Touching chief rents claimed asdue to said lordship for lands in Aberchwiler and Banker, &c. Whether the owners of Leweny paid any yearly rent for lands in Aberchwiler to the lords of Ruthin?, &c., &c. [The names and possessions of Sir Thomas Middleton, Bart. (plaintiff's brother), Sir John Salusbury, Bart., Sir Thos. Salusbury, Bart. (the said Sir John's elder brother), Sir Francis Crane, and his brother Richd. Crane, formerly lords of said manor, Edith Crane and Jane Crane, sisters of said Francis and Richard, Richard Arundel (son and heir of said Edith by Gregory Arundel her husband, a minister in Cornwall), who married Mary, the daughter of Thos. Hoblyn, and had issue by her Francis and Edith, Nicholas Tyocke, Sir Thos. Salusbury, Bart., father of said Sir Thos. and Sir John, Sir Henry Salusbury, Bart., father of said Sir Thomas the elder, and "the Salusburys, owners of Leweny," are mentioned.: Denbigh
