Towns of Fishlake and Sykehouse, and the"Great Levell or Dykes Marsh" on the south and east sides of said towns"drained or improved" by Sir Cornelius Vermuyden, and the defendants lands in said level. What part of said level belonged to said Sir Cornelius?

Owners of said lands called"Participants" (i.e. those who assisted in the drainage of said Great Levell). Annual payments made to said"participants." Repair of the banks of the said Levell near the said towns since the draining of the said Marsh by said Sir Cornelius.
