Description

Short title: Alestree v Jefferyes.

Plaintiff(s): Charles Alestree, clerk.

Defendant(s): Thomas Jefferyes, William Smith, John Clarke, Thomas Bryan, John Faulconer.

Subject of depositions: Vicarage, rectory, and parish of Daventree. Whether said rectory is counted abbey land, and now belonging to the Cathedral Church of Christchurch in Oxford? etc. Tithes.

County/place: Northamptonshire; Oxfordshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1694.
