Description

Short title: Attorney General v Penrose.

Plaintiff(s): The Attorney General.

Defendant(s): Henry Penrose.

Subject of depositions: Contempt (of court) committed by defendant in obstructing Robert Henshaw and James Cockram, two of their Majesties' officers belonging to the Port of [Gweek?] (Cornwall) from taking away a parcel of "stone pitch" by them seized as forfeited.

County/place: Cornwall.

Date of commission: 23 June 1693.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 August 1693 at Falmouth.
