Description

Short title: Newton v Bolton.

Plaintiff(s): George Newton, clerk.

Defendant(s): Thomas Bolton.

Subject of depositions: Rectory and parish of Cheadle, and the Hall and demesne lands of Handford in said parish. Tithes. [The names and possessions of Sir William Brereton, of Handford (Cheshire), bart and Sir Thomas Brereton (son and heir ofsaid Sir William), owners of said Hall, and Thomas Legh, the younger, late of Adlington (Cheshire), purchaser of said Hall, of said Sir Thomas are mentioned].

County/place: Cheshire.

Date of commission: 29 May 1693.
