Description

Short title: Wycherley v Chetwood.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Wycherley, of the parish of Wem (Shropshire), yeoman, and his wife Ann Chetwood, Richard Wycherley and his wife Jane, Rowland Whittingham and his wife Elizabeth.

Defendant(s): Katherine Chetwood, widow, John Chetwood.

Subject of depositions: Execution of the last will and testament of Elianor Chetwood, widow of John Chetwood, late of Horton (Shropshire), tanner, mother of the plaintiffs Elizabeth Anne, and Jane; and of the last will and testament of William Chetwood, late of Horton aforesaid, tanner, eldest son and heir of said John and Elianor.

County/place: Shropshire.

Date of commission: 13 February 1693.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 6 April 1693 at Wem., delivered into Court 8 May 1693.
