Description

Short title: Leversedge v Leversedge.

Plaintiff(s): Roger Leversedge.

Defendant(s): Henry Leversedge alias Jefferyes, Thomas Wadley, John. Whitchurch, John Elderton, Robert Wayland, Mary Smith, Jeremy Davison, Thomas Whittocke, Zacharie Bayly, Nathaniel Ragland, Richard Corbett alias Davis.

Subject of depositions: "Ville or towne of Froome" (Somerset). Tolls of fairs and markets. Customs, etc. Touching monies received by defendants for standinge "tolledge" or "stallage" within such markets or fairs from persons "using such fairs or markets for their standinge or beinge on "such defendants p'tended ground" etc. [The names of Robert and Edmund Leversedge (plaintiff's father and grandfather) are mentioned].

County/place: Somerset.

Date of commission: 28 November 1692.
