Description

Short title: Mayor of Gloucester v Chance.

Plaintiff(s): The mayor and burgesses of the city of Gloucester.

Defendant(s): John Chance, the elder, John Chance, the younger.

Subject of depositions: What customs, tolls, or other, and what dutyes have been antiently payd to the plaintiffs or their p'decessors for goods, wares, and merchandizes carried by troughs or vessels upon the river of Seavern, and passing upon the said river thro' the bridge belonging to the said city of Gloucester [calledthe West Bridge "] or upp or downe the said river or landed upon the key or wharfe belongg to ye said city "?.
