Description

Short title: Stanley v Dupree.

Plaintiff(s): George Stanley.

Defendant(s): Daniel Dupree, Elizabeth Rookes, widow, and Susan Jenkins (an infant), by the said Daniel Dupree her guardian.

Subject of depositions: Last will and testament of Captain William Stanley, of the town of Southampton, merchant (plaintiff's late father), of which will Anthony Jenkins, late of the town and county of Southampton, pewterer, was one of the executors (late father of defendant Susan), and the estate of said captain in Southampton. Touching the management of said executorship by said Anthony. [The names, of George Stanley, of Paulton (elder brother of said captain). and Lawre and Francis Swanton, the other executors of said will are mentioned].

County/place: Hampshire.

Date of commission: 1 July 1691.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 3 September 1691 at Southampton.
