Were they always reputed abbey lands, and formerly belonging to the late dissolved abbey or monastery of Coggeshall? Are all abbey lands belonging to said abbey, "and these in particular" discharged of tithes or anything in lieu of tithes? Whether said defendant held said farm in his own hands, and whether "any of the owners of said farm, when they held the same in their owne hands, were at any time sued at law or equity for any tithes?" etc. [Mr Coake, Mr King, and Mr Abbutt, former owners of said farm, are mentioned].
