Description

Short title: Walker v English.

Plaintiff(s): John Walker.

Defendant(s): Charles English, Samuel Johnson.

Subject of depositions: Charges incurred in the defence of an action brought by Stephen Smythe against the defendant "for using the trade of a hot presser in Norwich, to which said defendants, `as pretended,' had not served as apprentice." Touching monies paid and monies alleged to be owing to the plaintiff by the defendants for acting as counsel in the action.

County/place: Norfolk.

Date of commission: 15 June 1687.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 3 October 1687 at Norwich.
