Description

Short title: Ridges v Ridges.

Plaintiff(s): Charles Ridges.

Defendant(s): James Ridges, Elizabeth Davies, widow, Francis Creswick and his wife Mary, Sarah Ridges.

Subject of depositions: Settlement of his estate made by the plaintiff previously to his taking "a voyage by sea." Whether the "settlement or writing ", "was made or intendedto be made ", "to be in force only ", "in case the plaintiff dyed at sea, and to be of noe force and void, and to be delivered up to the plaintiff in case he came home safe from sea "? etc.

County/place: Staffordshire; Middlesex.

Date of commission: 28 November 1685.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 11 January 1686 at Lichfield.
