Description

Short title: Attorney General v Saltonstall.

Plaintiff(s): The Attorney General, by the relation of William Shelton and his wife the Lady Anne Robinson, administratrix of the goods and chattells of Sir John Robinson, and mother and guardian of Sir John Robinson, baronett, James Robinson, and Henriette Robinson, during their minority, upon the renunciac'on of Sir Joseph Shelton, Sir Thomas Stringer, and Henry Barker, executors of the last will of the same Sir John Robinson.

Defendant(s): Richard Saltonstall.

Subject of depositions: Sir John Robinson, kt and bart late of Farming Woods, in the forest of Rockingham (Northamptonshire), His Majesty's late Lieutenant of the Tower of London, who held the office of master forester and keeper of that part of the forest of Rockingham, called Farming Woods, and the office of supervisor of verte and venison there, and the office of receiver of all rents called Castleward Rents and the arrears thereof. Touching rents, called Castleward Rents, payable out of the town or manor of Chipping Warden (Northamptonshire).
