Description

Short title: Bathurst v Bathurst.

Plaintiff(s): Theodore Bathurst.

Defendant(s): John Bathurst, Sir Phillip Warwick, kt, William Rawlin.

Subject of depositions: Last will and testament, and the administration, of the real and personal estate of John Bathurst, late of London, Doctor of Phissicke, deceased (the defendant Sir Phillip Warwick being one of the executors, in conjunction with Sir Orlando Bridgman, Sir Christopher Turner, Francis Phillips, and William Thornton, named in the will, and William Rosewell, named in the will). Such estate including the manor of Arkinggarthdale and New Forest, and the manor or farm of Clints, and lands and tenements in Richmond, whereof Dr John Bathurst was in his life time and at the time of his death seized in fee (or others in trust for him) of the inheritance of the same. Touching lead mines (parcel of manor, etc) let by the city of London at a rent of £150 per annum, and the value, manner of working, management, and profits of the lead mines. What yearly rent was offered for the lead mines by the Marquis of Winchester? (Stated to be £250 per annum) Touching also the assets left by Sir Orlando Bridgman, Sir Christopher Turner (two of the executors), and Edward Brewster, at their deaths.
