Short title: Napier v Marquis of Winchester.
Plaintiff(s): Sir Nathaniel Napier, kt and bart.
Defendant(s): The Most Hon. Charles Lord Marquesse of Winchester, Francis Lord Pawlett, John Hurding.
Subject of depositions: Manors of Howood and Turnehill (Southampton), the manors of Whaddon (in the possession of the plaintiff Sir Nathaniel), a farm or lands called Ashley (in possession of defendant Hurding), all of which are said to be parcel of the possessions of the late abbey of Lettley (Southampton). Touching the fee-farm rents reserved and payable to the Crown for the premises. [See Number 14 of this term].
County/place: Dorset.
Date of commission: 19 June 1678.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 8 October 1678 at Dorchester.
