Description

Short title: Browne v Keyte.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Browne, clerk.

Defendant(s): John Keyte, William Keyte, Richard Shermer, Richard Driver.

Subject of depositions: Vicarage of Minty, grounds in the parish of Minty heretofore enclosed out of Braden Forest, and held by defendants and other inhabitants of the parish of Oaksey (Wiltshire). Tithes. Touching the inclosure of the forest and the allotments of land made to the several lords of manors (of Garsden, Grettenham, ) and others, and tithes paid by them or claimed by plaintiff for the lands.

County/place: Gloucestershire; Wiltshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1674.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 27 April 1674 at Cirencester.
