Description

Short title: Sawyer v Fenwick.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Edmond Sawyer, kt.

Defendant(s): Ralph Fenwick, James Cragge and his wife Jane, Tristram Tailor.

Subject of depositions: Messuage called "The Stonehouse" and closes of ground adjoining called "Ramisey's Closes" and a moore in Green Leighton; partly held of the Crown and part the freehold or inheritance of William Fenwick (deceased), late husband of defendant Jane, and the late monastery of Newminster and the manor of Bolam (Northumberland).

County/place: Northumberland.

Date of commission: 28 November 1673.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 7 January 1674 at Morpeth.
