Description

Short title: Attorney General v Redshaw.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Jeffrey Palmer, kt and bart (Attorney General), deceased.

Defendant(s): Thomas Redshaw, George Redshaw, Edward Rounthwaite and his wife Ann, Henry Newton.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands in Asmonderby, in the parish of Ripon, called the Broadfield, purchased by Christopher Bickerdine, late of Thorpe, near Ripon (late father of defendant Ann), of Thomas Redshaw, late alderman of Ripon.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 22 June 1670.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 19 September 1670 at Ripon.
