Description

Short title: Peckham v Staples.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Henry Peckham, kt.

Defendant(s): Henry Staples, clerk.

Subject of depositions: Manor, rectory, and priory of Runckton (Sussex), heretofore in the possession of Sir Thomas Bowyer, the elder, baronet, and since purchased by plaintiff. Touching pensions, payable out of the rectories of Merston, South Stoke, and Pulboro' to Sir Thomas as lord of the manor.

County/place: Sussex.

Date of commission: 22 June 1670.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 20 October 1670 at Chichester.
