Description

Short title: Broughton v Craven.

Plaintiff(s): Dame Mary Broughton, widow of Sir Edward Broughton, kt.

Defendant(s): Sir Robert Craven and his wife Dame Margaret, William Broughton, Ann Broughton, Sir Robert Honywood, kt, Chr. Bernard, James Nutley, Elizabeth Mostyn, William Knightley, John Mills.

Subject of depositions: Capital messuages and demesnes called Marchwiel, Iscoyd, and Avenbury, and other lands, etc. (Denbigh, Flint, and Chester), lately belonging to the said Sir Edward Broughton. Value.

County/place: Denbighshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1667.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 January 1668 at Wrexham.
