Description

Short Title: Attorney General v Stanford.

Plaintiff(s): Edmond Prideaux (Attorney General), by the relation of Henry Hunlock, bart an infant, by his guardian William Mitchell.

Defendant(s): Anthony Stanford and his wife Anne, Thomas Rogers, William Smallwood, William Spencer.

Subject of depositions: Lands in Wingerworth, Tupton, Swathwike, and Alton, and elsewhere (Derbyshire), late of Henry Hunlock, former husband of defendant. Touching the dower of Ann.

County/place: Derbyshireshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1657.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 7 April 1657 at Chesterfield.
