Plaintiff(s): Sir Francis Wortley, kt and bart Henry Potter, William Oates, Thomas Marsden.
Defendant(s): John Wood, Thomas Viccars.
Subject of depositions: Town of Barnsley, in York. Custom of "suit and grist" [i.e. grinding corn, etc.] at the ancient mills there. Alleged contempt of Court of Exchequer committed by defendants.
County/place: Yorkshire.
Date of commission: 12 February 1647.
