Description

Short title: Dean of the Cathedral of Ely v March.

Plaintiff(s): The Dean and Chapter of the Catherine Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Ely.

Defendant(s): William March, Thomas Hoby.

Subject of depositions: "Calcyes" (causeways) leading from Ely to Stuntine. Right of way for "horse and foot" only, and not for carts, except by plaintiffs' leave.

County/place: Cambridgeshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1642.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 18 April 1642 at Elie.
