Short title: Simcocks v Pope.
Plaintiff(s): Thomas Simcocks.
Defendant(s): Henry Pope, Edward Talbot, John Talbot, Phillip Parry, Thomas Masters, George Ham, John Raymond, Richard Billing, John Ewens, Thomas Bridge.
Subject of depositions: Manor of Budeleigh (Butley), and the demesnes, and an agreement touching the moor there called "Southmore" alias "Aldermore." and the manors of Glaston and Street. Common of pasture. Touching plaintiff's claim (resisted by defendants) to 30 acres of the moor "newly inclosed" lying in the manor and parish of Glaston; allotted to plaintiff in lieu of common, and 220 acres to the tenants in lieu of common.
County/place: Somerset.
Date of commission: 28 November 1640.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 19 January 1641 at Somerton.
