Description

Short title: Earl of Lindsey v Tyler.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Earl of Lindsey, Lord Great Chamberlain of England.

Defendant(s): John Tyler, William Tyler, Francis Wilks, William Pierpoint, John Randall, John Turner, Margaret Tyler, Anne Tayler, Elinor Vernolls, Martha Brian, Edward Cooke, Richard Maylard, William Playne, John Tyler.

Subject of depositions: "Forest or chase or waste of Darvold alias Darvall (Herefordshire)." Touching "an agreement or composition between Robert Earl of Lindsey and the commoners about the improvement of said forest by division and inclosure. ".

County/place: Herefordshire; Shropshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1640.
